Most topics are covered in two units, with one each for Number Systems, Place Value, Money and Investigations. 

Each unit starts with two teaching pages that include outcomes, language and materials needed. This is followed by a description of the six blackline masters and all their answers. There are activities and exercises for extension as well as reinforcement and practice, plus high interest activities and games. Each unit ends with an assessment page, which is a valuable teaching resource in itself. They can be used to assess specific outcomes or as a pre-test to discover levels of student understanding.
