This series has been written and designed to assist secondary school students in Years 7–10 to learn and use in correct context common words and language associated with everyday scenarios. Some units are about activities that teenagers participate in, such as sport, going to the movies and using technology. Other units relate to situations where young people require specific language to fully participate in the community, such as visiting a hospital or the chemist.

The tasks in each unit vary in difficulty and style and will reinforce an understanding of basic grammar, sentence construction and spelling.
