The Achieve! series of Geography titles has been developed for teachers who require modified, curriculum-focused activities for secondary school students who struggle to read and comprehend regular classroom materials because of poor literacy skills. Many of the pages will also be suitable as supplementary material for regular classes.

Sustainability in the Asia Pacific will assist teachers to develop lessons regarding the cross-curriculum priorities – Sustainability, and Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia – from the Australian Curriculum. Students develop their geographic understanding and inquiry skills as they learn about alternative sources of energy production including solar, hot rock, and wave power.

The work sheets also focus on how communities in the Australasian region respond to these new production forms, as well as the impact they have on the environment and peoples’ everyday lives.
