A good grasp of numberacy is an important tool for planning and completing projects in the Design and Technology subject area. This title has been written to assist Design and Technology teachers in teaching and reinforcing practical numeracy skills in the classroom. The units can be used to pre-teach students the numeracy skills they require for particular project and as revision or reference material for senior students who need to brush-up on concepts and calculations that will help them to construct their individual assessment tasks.

Each unit of work is self-contained although students will find a calculator useful for most activities, and some units require materials such as a ruler, set square, protractor or compass. Answers are provided to make marking quick and easy.
